Philip L. Herschman, Chief Executive Officer, founded BHC and has more than twenty-five years experience in the health care field. Prior to BHC, Mr. Herschman worked in Business Development for Republic Health Corporation, where he helped implement Republic's strategy of joint venturing their acute care hospitals with physician groups. He was also operationally responsible for three acute care hospitals, totaling over five hundred beds, for OrNda HealthCorp. His employment with OrNda/Republic spanned a period of eight years. Prior to OrNda/Republic, Mr. Herschman was a Regional Vice President of Operations with Horizon Health, a multi unit psychiatric health care company. Fred W. Delloye, President, co-founder of BHC, has more than twenty-five years experience in the health care field. Mr. Delloye has been a management consultant since 1986. During that time he was the President of a head-injury rehabilitation company, Chief Financial Officer of a 200 bed acute care hospital and the Chief Financial Officer of a psychiatric hospital management company. From 1982 to 1986, Mr. Delloye served as Regional Vice President of Republic Health Corporation with responsibility for six acute care hospitals. William T. Hutton, Executive Vice President, Development has more than twenty-five years of experience in sales management, sales development and sales training with expertise in business operations in the health care field. Prior to joining Behavioral Health Concepts, (BHC), Mr. Hutton was Senior Vice President, Development for Cornerstone Health Management/Cornerstone Behavioral Health and was responsible for securing multiple contracts with acute care hospitals over a seven year period. From 1988-1995, Mr. Hutton was responsible for an operating division of Bristol-Myers Squibb, supporting hospital and field sales activities. Mr. Hutton has developed numerous training programs for managers, directors and field sales associates. His experience has granted him speaking engagements at national sales meetings on various training and marketing topics. He is a graduate of the Indianapolis Entrepreneurship Academy and has served on numerous committees to foster healthcare integration between industry, education and government within the State of Indiana. Linda Patton, Regional Vice President , has more than twenty years of experience in the behavioral health field. Her range of experience includes chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, juvenile sexual offender treatment, and adult psychiatric care. She has held various management positions including Clinical Director, Program Director, and as a corporate Director of Treatment Services. As a healthcare consultant Linda has served in interim Program Director roles, prepared units for surveys and recruited physicians. Linda has extensive experience in startups including behavioral health acute care, outpatient, and Intensive Outpatient Programs, CON development, and licensure of a juvenile residential facility. Her experience in the care of older adults includes opening a Senior Health Clinic, managing geriatric-psychiatric hospital based programs, and managing a nursing home based outpatient program. In addition to behavioral health experience she served as the Director of Business Development and Community Relations for an Indianapolis hospital. John Curtis, Corporate Director of Marketing, has more than fifteen years of experience working in the sales and marketing field within the health care industry. Mr. Curtis has worked with Behavioral Health Concepts in various marketing capacities for the past ten years. Prior to his experience with BHC, Mr. Curtis created and implemented various occupational medicine programs for acute care hospitals and worked with physicians, marketing their practices to the business community.
